WHO WE ARE

Founded in 1999, Gulf Coast Commercial Group, Inc. is a fully integrated real estate development, management and leasing company led by a seasoned team of industry professionals. Buoyed by an established pool of equity investors and long-standing banking relationships, the Houston-based firm and its affiliates have overseen the development of more than eight million square feet of retail space spanning 35 cities and twelve states. Gulf Coast’s nearly 100 projects include approximately a million square feet of grocery-anchored retail centers and 63 build-to-suit stores for major brands including Academy Sports + Outdoors, Best Buy, Michaels, Panera Bread, Office Depot, PetSmart, REI, T.J.Maxx and Walgreens.

Throughout our company’s history, we have fostered strong alliances with many of the nation’s premier retailers – whose specialties include food and beverage, clothing, home goods and furniture, electronics, office products, crafts and pet supplies. The result of these long-standing relationships is an impressive portfolio of retail properties, encompassing power centers, grocery anchored centers and freestanding single-user retail and restaurant properties.

Effective property management means controlling costs and responding promptly to day-to-day issues. This requires hands-on attention and in-depth expertise. We provide accurate budgeting, accounting and regular operational reporting, and we know the importance of maintaining strong tenant and owner relationships.
Gulf Coast Commercial Group, Inc. arms tenants with outstanding market knowledge, long-established relationships and veteran insight that both simplifies and enhances a variety of processes ranging from site selection and analysis to disposition and negotiations. With the goal of becoming an extension of its client teams by innately understanding their needs, GCCG has built a loyal customer base that calls on the firm for support and assistance time and again.
Gulf Coast Commercial Group, Inc, maintains strong alliances with national, regional, and local retailers, and their tenant representation brokers. We know which retailers are scouting our markets, when they will be here to select sites and what business terms they desire.
Our project leasing has a proven track record of maximizing value for our developments. The key to maximizing value is balancing cost effective architecture with efficient site planning and the right tenant mix for a given project.
