HOUSTON, TX – May 2, 2023 – Gulf Coast Commercial Group’s bustling, central Houston mixed-use development, Lower Heights District, is again adding to its tenant roster. The 24-acre project, which is located just west of downtown and fronts Interstate 10 between Studemont and Sawyer streets, has just unveiled three new tenants and signed leases for an additional two, growing the eclectic and synergistic roster that has made the center a community hub.

Focused on empowering independent beauty professionals, Salon Lofts, an industry leader in the hair salon suite rental space, now occupies 5,155 square feet on the second floor of 2795 Katy Freeway. Salon Lofts was represented by Greg Stanislawski with The Retail Strategy. A 2,000-square-foot Ideal Dental center is now open at Lower Heights District. The full-service and neighborhood-centric facility shares a one-story, 6,000-square-foot building at 2785 Katy Freeway with Veterinary Emergency Group. Campbell Anderson with Orr Commercial Inc. represented Dallas-based DECA Dental Group, a clinician founded and led, dental service organization that has been providing high-quality care to patients since 2008. Beloved, Texas Hill Country-based jeweler, James Avery Artisan Jewelry, has debuted a 2,706-square-foot boutique at the Lower Heights District adjacent to ULTA at 2857 Katy Freeway. The family-owned business prides itself on pieces designed with beauty and meaning and mostly crafted in Texas, using the finest materials sourced worldwide. Hair salon, The Blow Up Bar, has signed a lease for a 1,700-square-foot space at Lower Heights District. Located at 2795 Katy Freeway, the beauty provider is slated to debut in August 2023. The tenant was represented by Andrea Tran of NEXTGEN. Brett Levison of Main Steet Commercial Partners, plus Danny Miller of Gulf Coast Commercial Group, represented the landlord.

Radiant Waxing, a leading, national waxing concept, has signed a 1,200-square-foot lease at the Lower Heights District. Located at 2795 Katy Freeway, the unisex speed-waxing experience is slated to open in December 2023. Clients can anticipate an upscale environment with private waxing rooms and refined techniques from professionally trained and licensed estheticians.
