HOUSTON, TX – October 19, 2022 – Gulf Coast Commercial Group’s Lower Heights District – 2799 Katy Freeway – is continuing to add to its unique cornucopia of retailers and service businesses at a prime location fronting Interstate 10 between Studemont and Sawyer streets, just west of downtown Houston. Scissors & Scotch caters to walk-in clients and regulars that participate in a membership program offering tailored packages of grooming services depending on selection and frequency of visits, with drink discounts and other in-house amenities. The tenant was represented by Samantha Walter of SRS. Houston-based Thrive Drip Spa and Salon Lofts will make their home just steps away in a second phase, two-story structure of nearly 25,000 square feet that was completed this summer and located directly across from 27Seventy Lower Heights, a 375-unit luxury apartment midrise. Thrive will be located on the ground floor in 2,000 square feet and offer IV vitamin infusion therapy with customized drips and boosters designed to maximize health, performance recovery and wellness. The lifestyle wellness spa was represented by The SVN J. Beard Real Estate Company. Creating a more personal and simple beauty experience for clients and beauty specialists alike, Salon Lofts will occupy 5,155 square feet on the second floor of the new building.
